Pastor “G” was installed by New Saint John Missionary Baptist Church as Pastor of Shores Baptist Worship Center in September 2005. Pastor “G” was instrumental in leading the church to become debt-free, retiring a four hundred and fifty thousand dollar mortgage in seven years. Under his leadership, the church celebrates a “Great Day of Giving” once a year, which has lead to acquiring a Church Bus and an electronic sign. The membership has grown spiritually and physically over the past fifteen years.
Pastor “G” was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Marymount College in Salina, Kansas and a Master’s degree from Faith Evangelical Seminary in Tacoma, Washington. Pastor “G” served in the U.S. Navy and has worked as a civil servant of the United States Postal Service in Ocala, Florida for the past twenty-seven years
Pastor “G” is married to Melissa Ann Threatt-Garner for the past thirty-six years, with one son, Kenneth, and one grandchild, “Gabby.” He enjoys the stock market and golf.
Pastor “G” is passionate about the young people in his community, city, state and nation. His desire is to assist them and their families to grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially by providing a strong support system with programs and services that strengthen the family and the community at large.

Arletia is an ordained minister and chaplain. She is a mentor to women and youth, and a published author. Arletia is a resident of Marion County, Florida and a member of Shores Baptist Worship Center in Ocala, Florida. She is married to Franklin Mayfield, founder of trueGOD.tv, a Christian Internet Television Network.
Arletia majored in Media Communications. In her professional career, she worked as Administrative Assistant for some of the most prestigious advertising agencies in the world including Ketchum and J. Walter Thompson in San Francisco, CA. She served in the tourism industry as a Concierge in Las Vegas, Nevada for nearly a decade and as Sales Executive and Traffic Coordinator for radio stations on the West Coast. In addition, she has hosted online radio and television programs including Biblical studies for many years.

Ken Reid is the treasurer of SCDC where he oversees accounting and finance. Ken is a results-focused senior financial professional. He has vast experience supporting financial planning strategy in deadline driven environments. Ken’s skills are invaluable to SCDC. In addition to being a financial professional, Ken is an ordained minister. He serves as the Director of Media Ministry at Shores Baptist Worship Center.
Ken has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from Rhode Island College and a degree in Psychology from Boston University. He lives in Ocala, Florida with his wife, Alice, and their four beautiful daughters.
